Large format. Beige cloth with gilt title to spine. The artist captures the outstanding natural beauty of the countryside around Carlops and the valley of the North Esk river, which lies just south of Edinburgh. He was artist in Residence in the area for 3 years. ISBN: 9781841588346. Spine & corners of boards lightly bumped, top corners of contents have a tiny crease, a result of bumped board corner. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is lighty scuffed to rear.

Janet Rawlins has observed and loved Wensleydale, with illustrations, landscape paintings and tose famous collages, all in her own inimitable style. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour illustrations throughout, many watercolour. ISBN: 9780992866006. Signed by the artist 'for (the previous owner)'. Top & tail of spine slightly bumped, small knock to top edge of boards. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby and lightly edge-creased, tiny tear (no loss to top edge of rear panel, previous bookseller's label to rear panel.

Very good condition.
With original etchings & lithographs, also reproductions of oil & water-colour paintings, pastels, &c. A set of 8 (complete) very large format grey card-wrap booklets with string binding. Each volume has an essay and 6 plates. Eight volumes with light edge0wear and browning to cover edges. All plates are present. Volume III has some foxing to a plate or two and facing blank pages, Volume VII has foxing to pages and plates are foxed on verso of page. Volume VIII has foxing to 1st plate and facing blank page. Some top edges unopened. All contained in a large presentation folder with ribbon clasp, folder is very worn, browned and scufffed, foxing to inside boards, spine is split. A nice, complete set.

British Water-Colour Art 1804-1904 Covered by the Life of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours. A & C Black 20 Shilling Series. 3000 copies printed. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine and front cover. Red and gilt decorations also to spine and front cover. 60 tissue-guarded colour plates, plus 1 b/w and a folding facsimile of the address. Top edge gilt. Spine is browned with a few chips to top and tail. Damp stain along bottom edge of front cover. Corners are bumped. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing. Finger mark to plate page 20. Small stain to lower margin plates/pages 178-200. Rear joint is split and VERY FRAGILE - stitching is just about holding on. A reading copy.

Fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper.
Large format. Blue cloth with white, black and yellow title. This is the Deluxe edition and includes a hand-produced facsimile of an Audubon watercolour (The Tufted Titmouse). Stunning colour illustrations throughout! In colour pictorial slip case. Features the one-and-only set of watercolours that Audubon created as a prototype for the large engraved edition of 'The Birds of America'. All 474 watercolours of the New-York Historical Society are reproduced. ISBN: 9780847839438. Wrapper has some very light edge-creasing. Facsimile reproduction painting is contained in an envelope to front endpaper, which has come unstuck from endpaper. Still excellent. This copy would make a wonderful gift. Slip case is in fine condition. Also contained in original colour cardboard box, which has a couple of dents and some wear.
