A few minor grubby marks to white boards. Contained in publisher's slipcase which has a large bookplate to one side and is lightly shelf scuffed.

Brown cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. 12 mounted colour plates with tissue guards. 166 pages. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine browned. Covers a little rubbed. Small lump to joint edge of front pastedown leading to small indent to prelims. Browning to endpapers. Tissue guards are browned as are pages opposite them. Some tissue guards are creased. Gilt to top edge of text block dulled and a little scratched. A little foxing and some fingering otherwise contents are generally clean.
Or The Peer and the Peri. Red cloth covers with gilt titles and decorative gilt border to front cover. 8 colour plates. 50 pages. 9.5 x 7.25". A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers slightly grubby with some darkening. Small bump to lower edge of front cover. One hinge cracked. Small pen mark to rear endpaper. Some light browning and an odd fox spot. A couple of corner tips creased. All plates present.
