Published by Faber & Faber. 1st 1951. Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.

B/w photos. Pale yellow cloth, light blue title to spine. Light browning to top and tail of spine. A few minor marks to boards, light bumping to corners. Surface paper of facing verso of frontis stuck to title page (not bad). Light foxing to top edge of text block and browning to page edges. Pictorial dustwrapper is rubbed at edges, especially front and rear of spine, spine is browned with a few small chips and closed tears, repaired to verso with clear tape. Dustwrapper is lightly browned.

Yellow boards with small gilt vignette of teddy and title in gilt to spine. Colour illustrations throughout. ISBN: 0719534291. SIGNED by author to half-title page. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Odd tiny spot to covers. Page edges are browned otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with loss from top 2" of rear fold. Spine slightly faded.
