A book of views, in the form of b/w engravings, of stately homes in English counties. Latest date given on plates is 1831, earliest date 1804. Oblong format. Three-quarter leather binding with marbled paper sides. Gilt title 'Views' to spine. No further title pages or contents list etc. Marbled endpapers. Leather spine and corners rubbed and worn, board edges rubbed, marbled sides a little rubbed. Binding is firm. Name in ink to verso of front endpaper and also to verso of first plate. Some browning to contents. An unusual item, untitled and undated.
