Slightly better than very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
The story of Archibald Ormsby Gore, the teddy bear. This book tells of his youthful adventures while hunting for history and flying with home-made wings over the Berkshire Downs and over the village with its church, its four chapels and four public houses. Yellow boards with small gilt vignette of teddy and title in gilt to spine. Colour illustrations throughout. ISBN: 0719534291. SIGNED by author to half-title page. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Odd tiny spot to covers. Page edges are browned otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with loss from top 2" of rear fold. Spine slightly faded.
