American Edition. Translated with an Introduction and Notes by Philippi. The Kokiki, the earliest source book in Japanese literature and history, was completed in 712 A.D. under the auspices of the imperial court. New Translation. Couple of corners are bumped. White mark to base of spine. Some grubby marks to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-crased and chipped, with browning; some scuffing and damp spots to spine. Minimal loss.
