Pictorial front cover shows three girls sitting on grass, one reading a book. First story is "The Influence of Anne" by D.F. Bruce. 6 colour plates, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Cover edges worn. Some slight chipping to edges of onlay to spine. Name plate to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. Foxing and some fingering to page edges and margins.
Small format. Beige cloth with large colour only to front. 6 colour plates with verses on the rear. Spaces for each day of the year plus other sections at rear. Covers warped. Joints and hinges cracked but binding still tight. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Contents unused but foxed.

White cloth spine, with red title. Pictorial front cover shows a girl in a sunhat picking flowers. First story is 'Two Cats-and One Other'. Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Covers edge worn. White spine is slightly grubby. Some scuff marks to front cover. Inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Small ink name stamp to front free-endpaper. Some red biro annotations/markings to the play in one act - "Unbleached Calico". Some hinges pulled. Foxing, mainly to textblock.

Father Tuck's Children's Own Library series. Stories in Prose and Verse. Cloth spine, pictorial covers, front shows two children with rake and armfuls of weeds, rear shows girl with swans. Colour frontis, two tone and b/w illustrations. First story: The Welsh Fire Dragon. Spine bumped, small holes along rear edge, also slightly darkened. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Covers a bit grubby with light scratches and small spots of surface paper damage. Name and date to front endpaper. Pencil writing to frontis, pencil underlining of text on one page and erased pencil words on a few pages and rear endpapers. Some fingering and a few marks to contents.
