They move to the Hydro and meet Lennox Kirkland the new Senior whose father is trying to develop a new building site. What with that and helping to unravel the mystery of the dying fir trees Sally is kept very busy. Red boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations. 224 pages. Marks and mottling to covers. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. Wrapper has tape marks to flaps; couple of closed tears to top edge of front panel.

Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Pictorial endpapers. 4 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. ISBN: 0216884977. Bumping to spine and corners. Sellotape marks to top and bottom of both boards. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Brown tape marks to endpapers. Text block edge slightly grubby but contents generally clean. Pictorial wrapper is edge worn and a little chipped. Brown mark to centre of front panel plus smaller one to top. A few scratches to rear panel. Surface paper damage to edge of flaps where there once was tape.

B/w illustrations. 88 pages. ISBN: 0216900492. A little bumping to spine and corners. Uneven fading to covers. Name in pen to front endpaper and some foxing to endpapers. A couple of stains to text block which have affected page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few tears and with small area of loss from bottom of front panel. Labels stuck to verso to strengthen edges. Foxing on verso.
