Cream cloth with dark blue titles and vignettes. 16 tipped-in colour plates mounted on brown stiff paper with decorative border. 11 x 8.5". Spine bumped. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers browned, heavy name in pencil to front endpaper has been partially erased. Pale page edge browning. Plates all present and in fine condition. Includes "National Bands" - a speech by Rudyard Kipling, delivered at the Mansion House on Jan 27 1915.

Brown cloth, gilt title, brown decorations to spine and front cover. 549pp. Cr 4to. Some light bumping and wear to spine and corners. Presentation plate to front pastedown. Front joint next to half-title page is cracked. Some foxing. Creasing to tissue-guard of frontis. A few hinges are pulled - binding starting to become a little weak in a couple of places. Foxing to outer page edges. All plates present. Original wrapper is edge-creased, with some grubby marks; a couple of small pieces of loss to corners.
