Wrapper has been 'repaired' with some white pieces added for strength. Marks and browning/fading; some pieces of loss.

Forty Sketches of Hunting Scenes and Countries. Selected studies from Cecil Aldin's Sketch Books, chosen and arranged by him for a volume of Hunting sketches which was not published. Large format. White cloth spine with gilt title, red cloth covers with gilt title to front. Boards marked and affected by damp to rear (cloth crinkled). Slight bowing to boards. Corners bumped & worn. Inscription in ink to free front endpaper. Lower front corner of boards has been bumped which gives rise to faint creasing of lower corner of contents. Minor foxing throughout also affects illustrations.
