ISBN: 0713420839. Large bookplate to front pastedown. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded to spine and lightly scuffed.
Green cloth, gilt titles to spine. B/w text illustrations. The life of a Highland Red Deer. Spine bumped with some fading at top. Some foxing to prelims otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with some loss. Rear panel is slightly grubby.

An Account of the Chase of the Wild Red Deer on Exmoor. Red cloth boards, gilt titles, gilt vignette of stag head to front. Colour and b/w photos. B/w illustrations. Top edge gilt. Spine slightly faded, small split in cloth to head of spine at either side. Name & date in ink to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. A few scattered foxspots to contents.
2 volumes. Brown leather covers, gilt borders. B/w plates. Includes sections on dogs, plus fox and stag hunting, hare coursing. Rabbit, martin, badger and otter hunting. Angling, game shooting and waterfowl etc. Both volumes have been rebacked with new spines with raised bands; new endpapers, original boards and pages. Volume 1 No longer has its title page. All plates present. Volume 1 was published in 1801 and Volume 2 in 1802. Scuffing and wear to covers; heavy wear to corners. Foxing, browning and some margin marks.

Small spots to covers. Child's name in blue biro to front pastedown and name and date also in blue biro to front free-endpaper. Foxing, mainly to textblock and page margins. Dustwrapper is torn with tape repairs on verso and some loss.
LIN 15. Pictorial cardwraps. Colour illustrations to text throughout. Nimbo is a fawn. A few light foxspots and a light stain to top corner tips of pages.

Front endpaper a little rubbed. Contents clean.

Cream cloth covers with dark titles and deer vignettes. Two-tone frontis plus 4 b/w plates, 2 fold out maps and small b/w repeated illustrations. 125 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped. Browning to spine and board edges. Small bump to bottom of front and rear board. Tissue guard to frontis is creased. Both maps have small tears where they are stuck into the book. The first map is creased at the edges. One plate is detached. Foxing to some pages and the top margin of some plates otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chipped and creased. Remains of a label to rear flap. Small patch of surface paper damage to front flap. Some foxing and marks to panels. Wrapper is grubby.
