Woodle was a Fairy King Bear and goes to the Toyshop where he once lived to take back a Girl Bear to Fairyland... Grey cloth with dark red titles and vignette to front. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some staining to lower edges of covers. Child's inscription in crayon to front pastedown (dated 1946). Light foxing to endpapers. Some light fingering to page margins and a couple of other marks also. Dustwrapper is worn and creased, grubby to rear panel and chipped with slight loss to spine and corners.

It was another world and he didn't like it... Michael Taylor had looked forward for months to summer camp in Yorkshire, but now he was there he longed to be home again... Yellow boards, burgundy title to spine. 232 pages. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Light damp staining to covers. Light creasing to lower corners of preliminary pages. Top edge of textblock is foxed. Dustwrapper is stained (tea/coffee?) but this shows mainly on the white rear panel.

Some page edges are torn from rough opening after the binding process.

Cream cloth with red titles and borders. 7 b/w illustrations including frontis. 241 pages. Reprint. Mark to top of spine (horizontally) and light fading to base of spine. Boards otherwise clean. Foxing mainly to text block, endpapers and some margins. Small name in ink to front endpaper. Top corner of page 195 and 197 is mis-cut as too large and therefore folded over (binding error). Pictorial dustwrapper has loss to base of spine (in line with the fading to spine), top of spine and corners lightly worn and chipped, overall is grubby with green marks to rear panel and foxing.
