Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some staining to lower edges of covers. Child's inscription in crayon to front pastedown (dated 1946). Light foxing to endpapers. Some light fingering to page margins and a couple of other marks also. Dustwrapper is worn and creased, grubby to rear panel and chipped with slight loss to spine and corners.

Pictorial dustwrapper has loss to base of spine (in line with the fading to spine), top of spine and corners lightly worn and chipped, overall is grubby with green marks to rear panel and foxing.
