A Tourtel story reprinted in colour. An advert for the next in the series on last page but no copy has been traced. 14 x 9.25". Staples rusty. Top of spine split and lower spine starting to split. Covers a little grubby. A few margin marks and a little bleeding from rusty staples. Generally contents are very nice.

Top edge gilt, others uncut. 13 tipped-in colour plates and 43 b/w drawings. Mauve on white pictorial endpapers. 250pp. 12 x 9.5". SIGNED by Rackham. Limited edition: this is copy number 352 of 525. Spine and corners bumped, with some wear to the cloth. Some marks to boards. Cracking ans splitting to front joint. Endpapers browned. Bookplate pasted to half-title page. All colour plates present: last plate is corner creased but all others are in fine condition. A few scattered foxspots. Contents generally clean and bright, but pages 248-9 are browned.

The third book about the endearing Mr. Twiddle. Red boards, black titles. B/w text illustrations. Boards lovely and clean, minor patch of fading to base of spine. Page 31 has minor grubby mark to margin else contents are clean. A couple of pages have small closed tears to margin edges (not affecting any text). Dustwrapper is edge-worn and chipped with a few closed tears to edges and some browning, spine is a little faded. Overall a lovely copy of a first edition.
