Red cloth spine with black titles and vignette. Pictorial front board showing children round a brazier. Colour and b/w illustrations. First story is Bastable Cove by Strang. 192 pages Spine bumped, rubbed and darkened. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges worn. Covers scuffed. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some hinges cracked. Top corner of frontis missing. Colouring to one b/w illustration. Some foxing. Grubby marks to most page margins. A few small margin tears.
