Woodle was a Fairy King Bear and goes to the Toyshop where he once lived to take back a Girl Bear to Fairyland... Grey cloth with dark red titles and vignette to front. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some staining to lower edges of covers. Child's inscription in crayon to front pastedown (dated 1946). Light foxing to endpapers. Some light fingering to page margins and a couple of other marks also. Dustwrapper is worn and creased, grubby to rear panel and chipped with slight loss to spine and corners.
