The diaries show by their day to day entries the way in which a busy eighteenth century architect worked, and, in the case of Mylne, the many long journeys he contstantly undertook and his meticulous care in carrying out his commissions, large or small. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 220 pages. Board corners lightly rubbed/worn. Foxing mainly to text block and prelims, some foxing to contents. Dustwrapper is grubby, edge-rubbed, worn at corners with slight loss, browned to spine, some foxing.

Pale blue boards, blue titles to spine. B/w frontis. 208 pages. Spine and corners bumped, tiny dent to top edge of front cover. Top 2" of spine browned. Base of spine and also front cover damp(?) stained (matching stain to dustwrapper). Contents are very browned/foxed but otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped, large section of loss to top of spine and also to spine corner of rear panel. Slight loss, and a magic tape repair to base of spine. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby on rear panel.
