Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine and vignette to front. 13 Hand-coloured steel engravings, b/w wood engravings. 412 pages. Re-backed with original spine laid down and new endpapers. Board edges worn, boards grubby. Bookplate to front pastedown. All plates present. Binding worn but tight. A few grubby marks throughout.
Brown leather spine and corners; black title label with gilt title to spine. Red cloth covers. Hand coloured plates and b/w illustrations. Heavy wear with some chips and a little loss to spine and corners. Scuffing and grubby marks to covers. Front joint is almost entirely broken. Inscription in ink to prelims. Foxing throughout.
Cream spine and corners (appears to have been rebound from original), with original brown title label laid down on spine. Colour and 8 b/w plates. Top edge gilt. A New Edition. Darkening and chipping, with some loss to spine and corners. Bumping to corners. Scuffing also to marbled covers. Bookplate to front pastedown. Names in ink to free front endpaper. Foxing and browning to outer page edges.

Hand-coloured illustrations. 32 pages (printed on one side only). Covers are worn and scuffed. New endpapers. Frontis is MISSING! Light foxing and grubby fingermarks to pages. A decent copy of an early edition.
A tutor takes two children on six walks in London to show them a different world, more real, and less flattering which will amuse but give some instructive lessons. Green spine, yellow paper boards with black titles. Text in French and English. 7 full-page b/w illustrations. 57 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers grubby. Bookplate and small bookseller's label to front pastedown. Browning/foxing to endpapers and first and last few pages. Contents generally clean.

Blue pictorial binding, gilt titles. To which are added: 'York and Lancaster' and 'Lost and Found' - A Fragment. The 'Epping Hunt' and 'Eugene Aram'. A majority of the content gathered in this volume, were originally contributed to the New Monthly Magazine, during the Author's late Editorship. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some browning to spine, which also has chipping and fraying to cloth along bottom edge and small split to top of spine, again with a little fraying of cloth. Bookplate and inscription in ink to front pastedown. Marks to outer page edges. Some foxing.

Boards marked, spine worn with loss to top. Front joint cracked. A few hinges split and one section detached. One or two margin marks but contents generally clean.
