In 1914 Sir Henry Thornhill, a distinguished soldier-administrator of the British Raj, started sending illustrated cards to his 2 year old grandson, Teddy. The cards featured a number of animals and the best of them appear in this book. Delightful colour illustrations throughout. ISBN: 059301250X. A few marks to covers. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is price-cut with a bit of edge-creasing, small tear to one corner.
