Black cloth with gilt titles. With many illustrations to the different volumes. Nos. 135, 137 and 149, respectively of series issued to members of The Ray Society. 1951, 1953 and 1974 respectively (all are first editions in this format). Some mottling to covers. Text block lightly browned and foxing to endpapers of volumes I & II, foxing to text block of volume III, else clean. Dustwrappers of volumes I & II are browned, especially to spine, and marked, worn to spines. Dustwrapper of volume III is lightly browned to spine and lightly scuffed. Overall, a decent set.
