Almost very good condition. Grey cloth spine. Pictorial front board (by C.M. Barker) showing a girl and boy looking at two blackbirds in a tree. Adverts for Blackie's books for Children on rear board. Colour frontis (by Anderson) plus 2 other colour plates (one of which is by Attwell). B/w illustrations. First story is Cat and Dog by Evelyn Smith.9.75" x 7.25".
Spine bumped and split at either side at the top. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Spine and rear cover grubby. Inscription in ink to middle of front endpaper. Some light foxing mainly to endpapers and some page margins. Some grubby margin marks. Colour plates are bright and clean.
