Colour pictorial boards. Colour and two-tone illustrations. Some fade marks to spine, which also has 1" loss to top and smaller chips and nicks to base. Joints have been strengthened with white paper tape. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A few grubby marks to endpapers. Foxing to outer page edges. Binding/stitching is starting to come loose, so that binding is now weak. Wrapper is very torn and chipped with loss, but picture to front panel is still complete.

Matching pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few chips which affect 'Bil' of the title to spine (missing).
