Minor fading to top & tail of spine. Text block lightly browned. Endpapers lightly browned. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is repaired at top cornrs with now browned tape, corners lightly rubbed, spine and rear panela little grubby. Musty odour present.

Tape glue residue marks to endpapers of all volumes. Foxing and browning to outer page edges. The Fellowship of the Ring has small damp mark along front endpaper edge. Wrapper is edge-creased with some chips and nicks, mostly to top and tail of spine; some grubby marks to rear panels.
