Chippendale's folio would become the most important and significant publication of its time, influencing furniture design and style up to this day. Large format. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour & b/w illustrations. 192 pages including index. ISBN: 0976212404. White mark to lower front board imprinted from the verso of the dustwrapper. Dustwrapper has been glued to the pastedowns via the flaps (will not be removed). A few minor marks to front endpaper. Some damp crinkling to contents but no staining, clean. A few minor marks to rear panel of dustwrapper and light fading to front edge of spine.
