Oblong format, green cloth, gilt titles. All edges green. 23 colour plates of Flags of Yacht Clubs and Sailing Clubs of 1950. A heavy volume. 956 pages plus 45 pages of adverts to rear. Boards damp mottled, fairly heavily but not awful. Some light foxing to prelims. Comes with the first and the second supplement to the 1950 edition (paperwraps with some foxing, creasing and edge-wear. All contained in original shipping box which is heavily browned and marked.

A book for the amateur photographer by a master of colour photography. Encouragement for those who, afraid of technical problems, have in the past hesitated to make their own colour photographs. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine, gilt vignette to front. Colour photos & b/w text illustrations. Narrow band of fading to top & tail of spine. Boards a little dusty. Text block browned and a little grubby. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with slight loss, a few closed tears repaired to verso with clear tape, and is scuffed.
