Cream cloth with blue titles and decorations on covers. Spine and corners rubbed, spine slightly browned. Half title-page is detached at lower 2". Colouring to quite a number of the b/w illustrations. Some light fingermarks to page margins.

The idea was disgarded when he came to draw the enemy and found that he could not - the enemy didn't exist. Based on a story told to Steadman by Dimitri Sidjanski. Large format. White boards with black silhouette to front cover. Colour illustrations. Not paginated. ISBN: 0448229781. SIGNED by the artist to title-page with a small doodle to the cannon illustration. Small nibble patch to base of spine of book. Ink (biro) 2.00 written to top corner of front free-endpaper. Some loss to lower spine corner of front panel of wrapper (where it was nibbled). Dustwrapper is lightly browned, some lifting of laminate at lower edge of front panel.
