Green cloth, gilt titles and pictorial onlay to front. Attractive two-tone plates plus text illustrations. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Large but light damp stains to margins. Some hinges are cracked/pulled.

The product of a good memory, a collection of interesting letters from well-known persons, partly inherited, partly formed by the author, a a few diaries.Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w frontis. Ex-lib with usual markings and labels. Boards marked, corners bumped. Front joint starting to wear. Light page browning. Musty odour present.
Beige cloth with blue titles. Blue decorated endpapers. B/w text illustrations. A charming story of Charlotte the spider and how she helps Wilbur the pig. Light bumping and wear to spine and corners. A little foxing and browning to pages, mostly at edges. Wrapper is creased and grubby, with browning and edge-tears; minimal loss.
Brown cloth, green titles, vignette to spine and front cover. 4 b/w plates. 264 pages. Corners worn. Rear board slightly marked.
