Verse by those who have travelled in fancy or fact or in both. Brown pictorial boards. Full page colour illustrations from lithographs. 120 pages. Some light wear to corners and spine. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges; a few to pages internally. Illustrations are lovely and bright. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few closed tears; a couple of which are repaired to verso with tape.
Blue cloth with yellow title to spine and vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. The hero of this book is a London River tug-boat. Her adventures in peace and war form the stories, some tragic and some humorous, but always full of the spirit of that waterway which is half river and half sea. Browning to endpapers. Some foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge=creased and browned, with a few tiny nicks to corners.
