Orange cloth, black titles. B/w illustrations. Another splendid book about Mr. Galliano's wonderful circus. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Name and address in biro to front free-endpaper. A couple of small marks to pastedowns where looks like small labels were stuck down. Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with slight loss and slightly grubby/marked to rear panel.
Peach boards, red titles. B/w illustrations. 192 pages. Spine is darkened to top of spine. Bumping to corners. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips; loss to top of spine and a couple of corners; also foxed.

Tip of one corner of onlay has been torn off. Scuffing and marks to rear cover. Joints are cracked. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Page 13 has edge-tears/chipping with loss all the way down the long (outer page) edge. Foxing throughout. Some b/w illustrations have been coloured in. Some page creasing and a few small nicks to page margins. A reading copy.

Endpapers lightly browned and foxed. Pale page browning else contents clean. There is a slight crease to the edge of some of the pages. Dustwrapper is worn and grubby with loss, tape repairs on verso. A circular label has been removed from the front panel causing some surface paper damage.

Spine bumped, worn and faded. Split to rear edge of spine. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Covers a little marked. Both joints and several hinges cracked. Endpapers lightly browned. Frontis has been re-inserted in wrong place. Foxing to page edges. Mark to rear endpaper.

Written under the name of Mary Pollock, a pseudonym of Enid Blyton. Base of spine bumped. Dark spots (foxing?) to top and bottom of covers. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Some foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped at ends of spine and folds. Tear to base of spine repaired with clear tape on verso. Small hole near base of front fold. Spine, folds and verso browned. Rear panel slightly grubby. Foxing to verso.

Some white marks to rear panel. Wrapper is grubby.
