Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Spine and cover edges browned. Covers slightly grubby. Name plate to front pastedown. Tissue-guards to plates are browned. A couple of hinges are cracked. A few foxspots to contents.

"This volume grew out of an exhibition of the picture of Pamela Bianco (aged 12) which was held in 1919, they are accompanied by exquisite poems that De La Mare was inspired by them to write. Beautiful colour and b/w pictures. Large format. White boards with grey titles and illustration to front cover. This edition has the Angel & Child plate facing page 19. This was Dorothy Lathrop's copy with inscribed card from W. DLM laid in. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges slightly worn. Some foxing and slight page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with just a tiny piece of loss to top front edge, slightly foxed and rubbed to front edge.
