Corners worn, covers edge rubbed. Small patch of surface paper damage to top front corner. Some foxing and other marks to page edges/margins.

First year of publication. Green cloth spine, pictorial front cover showing Scout with flag and bugle. First story is "Luck of the Leopard" by Stacey Blake. 4 colou plates, b/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Covers are edge worn and a bit grubby. Name plate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper has been blotted out with blue biro scribbles. Belongs to box filled in. Small word in ink to verso of frontis. Frontis is detached but still present. Heavy foxing and some fingering to contents. Hinges are a little pulled causing contents to be slightly loose (binding still tight).

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine browned. Rear cover is grubby. Browning and foxing to contents. Some pencil colouring to endpapers, especially rear endpapers. One b/w illustration has been coloured in with watercolours. Hinges pulled but binding still tight. Name in heavy pencil to rear free-endpaper.

Formerly entitled 'William and A.R.P.'. Red boards with title to spine with black background. Black vignette of William's head to front cover. B/w frontis and text illustrations. 252 pages. 7.5 x 5". Spine and corners bumped and worn with small splits to top and tail of spine. Cover edges worn. Evidence of library labels being removed from front endpapers and erasure of an ink stamp to title-page. Endpapers have been replaced and hinges reinforce. Contents are well browned and fingered with some small margin tears. Some hinges cracked. Grubby fingermarks to page margins and some felt-tip pen marks to margins. Dustwrapper is well worn, torn and creased with only slight loss to top of spine. SOLD WITH ALL FAULTS (no returns).
