Very good condition. Red cloth spine with black title. Pictorial boards show rabbit reading book. Contains 35 stories plus 3 poems. Colour frontis plus one other colour plate. B/w text illustrations. 224 pages.

A little wear to corners. 1" horizontal tear across front joint has been repaired. A few small marks to endpapers. One hinge cracked. An odd fingermark to contents and a few light fox spots to text block. Completed with unused birthday insert illustrated by Nixon which has fingermark to lower margin. Contained in an original posting box which has one flap missing and is grubby and marked.
