Spine and corners bumped. Prize plate to front free-endpaper. Heavy foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is well worn at edges with minimal loss to spine and corners.

Front hinge between title page and frontis is split at top & tail. Pencil writing and erasure to front pastgedown, inscription in ink to free front endpaper. Endpapers are browned and grubby. Text block browned. Initials to title page. Foxing and some grubby marks throughout. Rear hinge split.

Price-cut blue dustwrapper is a litle grubby, browned, a couple of small closed edge tears (no loss).
