Fair condition.
Brown embossed cloth, gilt title to spine and embossed title to front cover. 360 pages (including index). Spine and corners bumped and worn with splits to spine edges and some slight loss of cloth at top and tail. Covers discoloured and faded, small patch of paper stuck to rear cover. Name in heavy pencil to front pastedown. Joints are cracked but binding is still tight. Contents are grubby and foxed, initials to textblock.

Spine browned and worn at top and tail. Boards a little scuffed and browned. Inscription in ink to front endpaper and verso of frontis. Joints starting to crack. Scattered foxing throughout especially to plates which are all present.
