Almost very good condition.
Green cloth, gilt title to spine, blue and yellow decoration to front cover. B/w plates. 252 pages plus publication list to rear. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Joints are partially cracked. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges, some page margins and couple of plates.

Very good condition.
Green/brown cloth with gilt title to spine. Picture and title to front cover. 8 x 6". 18 tissue-guarded b/w plates. Page edges are uncut. Gilt to spine is faded. Bumping along a couple of cover edges. Small bookplate and inscriptions to front pastedown. Some foxing and page browning. All plates present. A few small tears and creases to tissue-guards and a few page margins.

Maxfield Parrish
Maxfield Parrish (July 25, 1870 – March 30, 1966) was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery. Parrish entered into an artistic career that lasted for more than half a century, and which helped shape the Golden Age of illustration and American visual arts.
