Black cloth, gilt title to spine and large pictorial onlay to front. Pictorial endpapers. 9 colour plates. xii and 339 pages. Boards a little marked & rubbed at corners. Rear spine edge starting to split. '19 Nov 1953' rubber stamped in ink to front endpaper. Name & class in ink to first blank page. Foxing throughout and a general grubby appearance of contents. All plates present. Last few pages of book were untrimmed and have been opened carelessly with loss to vertical margins (text not affected).

A sequel to 'Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm'. Green cloth, red titles. Colour frontis. Bumping to spine and corners. Spine unevenly faded. Top of boards also faded with some foxing. Small booksellers label to rear pastedown. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Book leans a little to one side. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and areas of loss to top and bottom of spine and top of foprnt pane. Wrapper is grubby.
