1st story Rupert in the Tree Tops, originally published in 1936. Also includes Rupert and the Woodland Magic, illustrated by Alex Cubie. 20 pages. Pictorial cardwraps. Colour illustrations. Name to front and rear cover. Splitting along spine, covers detached from lower staple. Foxing to some margins. Corners creased.
Laminated pictorial boards showing Rupert sitting on a rock having just caught a Merchild in his fishing net. 1st story Rupert and the Birthday Present. 115 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Price-cut. Belongs to box completed with inscription, title page also has inscription, both in pen. Vertical crease to rear endpaper. Text pages very good. Magic paintings completed neatly.
Pictorial card wraps showing Rupert with chums, waving from a tree. First story Rupert and Rollo. 119 pages. 9.5 x 7 inches. Base of backstrip split to rear for almost 2", no loss. Covers lightly rubbed at corners. Rear joint is split so the rear cover is detached from spine. NOT price-cut or inscribed. Contents are clean. Slight musty odour present. If not for the rear joint and base of spine, this would be an almost fine copy.
Colour laminated boards - Rupert flying through the air on a sledge. 107 pages. Painting page, cinema show and puzzle pages. A Daily Express annual. Not published in facsimile form as some of the content was considered politically incorrect. Backstrip worn with loss. Front joint split due to damage to backstrip. Slight loss to base of front endpaper. NOT price-cut or inscribed. Painting contest clean. Cinema strip unused. Grubby marks to contents.

Spine bumped, worn and grubby with a vertical crease from top to bottom. Corners and cover edges worn. Covers grubby. Rear joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Ink inscription in To box on front endpaper and 1930 written to verso of frontis. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean. A little foxing.

Glazed boards. Front cover shows Rupert in air balloon with springs. 1st story is Rupert & the Crackerjack. 10x7 inches. 107 pages. Front cover is a little bowed. Belongs To box completed. NOT price-cut. Colouring Contest page has been partly done. Book has a slightly smoky smell.
