Red cloth black title to spine. 252 pages. B/w illustrations. Reprint of cheap edition (fourth impression), June 1938. Spine and corners bumped. Fading to spine and uneven fading to covers. Foxing throughout. Light pink stains (dye from covers has run) to margins of last few pages. Dustwrapper is very worn, torn and creased with substantial loss to top of spine/rear panel and tape repairs on verso. Rear panel and spine are slightly grubby.
