A trip to Brazil was an unexpected pleasure in the summer holidays. However when they got there they discovered that their host, Brian Mauleverer had disappeared. Peach boards. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Grubby marks to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and page margins. Wrapper is badly torn with chipping and some loss; messy tape repairs to spine and edges.

Pale blue boards with dark blue titles to spine and front cover. Colour frontis + b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine and part of front cover faded and browned. Covers grubby. Front joint and one hinge starting to crack. Foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Contents very good.
