Peter, Michael and their mother's aeroplane trip ended when their plane landed out at sea. They were rescued by pirates who ordered them to walk the plank but Michael's piano playing saved them. Oblong format 8.75 x 6", white pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners, some loss of surface paper from base of spine, small split to top. Covers grubby. Front endpaper is MISSING. Rear endpaper is creased. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean.

Colour and b/w illustrations. 206 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Covers grubby. Ink stamp to front pastedown. Ink blot to lower edge of text block has seeped a little onto about 50 pages. Light foxing and an odd mark to contents.

Ten christian saints. Each saint has a full page silhouette by way of illustration. Yellow paper boards with black titles and silhouette to front. Spine and corners bumped, top of spine torn across, boards a little grubby. Some minor scattered foxing to contents. Hinges pulled but stitching firm. Dustwrapper is worn at corners and spine with loss and browned/grubby.

Couple of light foxspots to covers which are a little grubby. Foxing mostly to page edges. A little creasing to the reptile's tail in the last pop-up where it doesn't quite fit in the book. Buck Roger's gun and hand also a little creased. Pop-ups otherwise in excellent condition. This copy would make a wonderful gift

Contents are very good, just an odd mark. All plates present. Book has slight musty smell.
