A few marks to covers, including a fade/damp mark to bottom of rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. All plates present.
New Naturalist Series no. 9. Green cloth. An account of the Country Parish of Great Budworth in the County of Cheshire. 34 colour photographs. 48 b/w photographs. 9 text figures. Browning and minor foxing to text block especially the top edge. Name & date in ink to front endpaper. Light browning to endpapers. A few small margin marks related to ageing. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is covered with clear plastic film (starting to come loose stickiness and thus beginning to come away), protecting from further damage to small chip at top of spine and 1" closed tear. Dustwrapper spine is browned, as is the rear panel.

Heavy damp stain to top third of rear cover and goes along all pages to roughly rear half of pages. Foxing throughout. A reading copy.
Red cloth with gilt titles. With Map. 64 pages of advertisements to rear. New red spine, with gilt titles (old spine is still inserted loosely into book). Heavy wear to edges, with some scuffing to covers. Some foxing. A few small pencil annotations to margins. Map is present, but very fragile!
