Green boards, red titles. Stories of Biggles, Worrals and Gimlet. Colour frontis and title pages plus double-page green and black illustrations. 2nd impression. Fading to spine and a couple of cover edges. 'Letter' from Johns taped to front endpaper; tape is yellowing and brittle. Wrapper has taped to edges and is browned/yellowed. Some marks to cover edges from old tape. Some chipping to wrapper.

Spine and corners slightly bumped. Some light browning to cover edges. Name in ink to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with only minmal loss at corners (where rubbed).

Some foxing otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge scuffed, faded to spine and just a little grubby to rear panel.

Some very slight foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with slight loss and a little grubby to rear panel.
