Contents

  • Veronica having realised the first of her ambitions and gained admission to the Sadler's Wells Ballet School sets about achieving her great objective - to dance a principal role at Covent Garden.
  • Once she has started work at the School, Veronica finds that she has much to learn; the ways of the School are strange to her and not all of the pupils are willing to welcome a new girl. She soon settles down, and learns to love the life, although at first difficulties and disappointments are many and minor triumphs are few.
  • Veronica is a born dancer, however, and her talent, courage and determination, together with the encouragement she receives from her friends take her triumphantly to success.
