A stray kitten finds its home in a convent and nearly loses it through misadventure. Translated from the Japanese by Willard. Large colour pictures. Easy to read text. Glazed pictorial boards. ISBN: 0241892252. Musty smell to contents. Light page browning and some evidence of erased pencil marks to title-page. Price-cut wrapper is just a tiny bit edge creased

Tim and Janie rescue a duck from the common pond. Dark green boards, gilt title to spine. Vignette to front cover. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Light stain to base of spine (affecting spine edges of covers). Endpapers partly browned. Small mark to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with tape repairs on verso.

Green cloth, gilt title to spine. 130 pages. Moll Swayne was a magical creature to her children, a creature of light and air and sunshine, the Queen of the Pharisees who danced in a fairy ring... Winner of the Whitbread Award 1984. ISBN: 0862031486. Spine and corners bumped. Top edge of textblock is dusty and foxed. Dustwrapper has a blue felt-tip pen mark crossing out the printed price on the front flap.
