Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Some light foxing to endpapers and textblock and some erased pencil markings to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is slightly rubbed at edges, very slightly faded to spine and has a couple of marks to rear panel.

Orange cloth, black titles and vignette to front. 286 pages. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Neat date (August 1942) written in ink to front endpaper. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with minimal loss at spine and corners, rear panel is a bit grubby and there are a couple of tape repairs on verso.
