This is a bittersweet, touching, and above all very funny book, about a family which has split up, yet finds its own way to function effectively. The film Mrs. Doubtfire starring Robin Williams (1993) is based on this story. Cream cloth boards, black title to spine. ISBN: 0241120012. Boards browned at horizontal edges. Top & tail of spine have light shelf wear. Contents heavily browned and crinkled vertically. Slight musty odour. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded to spine and lightly creased at top edge of spine.
