Oblong format. Pink pictorial boards. Delightful colour and b/w illustrations. Spine slightly bumped, some very slight fading to cover edges. A few large but light foxspots to contents. Light musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is price-cut by publisher with 'new' price sticker above and is just a little grubby.
Oblong format. Card wraps. Colour, two-tone and one colour drawings. Titles included are: The Strong-Tail; The Curly-Tail; The Pig-Tail; The Bushy-Tail; The Bunchy-Tail; The String-Tail. Couple of inch splits to base of a few spines; chipping; Some scuffing and marks to covers. Page browning and a few margin marks. Cover creased on The Bunchy-Tail.
Set to music by Glass. Large format. Cloth spine, orange boards. 23 pages. B/w text illustrations. Some bumping and wear to spine and corners. A little page browning; some foxing, mainly to outer page edges. A few grubby margin marks. Wrapper has some large tears and chips; large piece of loss to front panel and corner; grubby.
Ninth Edition. With additional songs, and an introduction by Sir. E. Strachey. Red cloth, gilt and black titles and black line decorations to cover. B/w illustrations. 144 pages. Some uneven fading to cover edges. Corners and spine are bumped, with wear. Browning and foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with some grubby marks; a bit of loss. Large closed tear to rear panel.
Boxed set of 6 think cardwrap books. Colour & b/w illustrations. Titles are: Teddy's New Job; Wally the Kangaroo; Grunty the Pig; Jenny the Giraffe; Ham and the Egg; Jimmy The Baby Elephant. Some wear to cover edges and spines. A few grubby marks. Contents have kept very nicely - protected by box. Nice and bright. Box is in fair-good condition - has been heavily repaired to edges with magic tape; Large tear to one edge of top of box. Still a cute set of Hulme Beaman illustrated books.
Part of the Noo-Zoo Tales. Pictorial cardwraps. Colour and two tone illustrations. 5 Jigsaws depicted some of the scenes from the story. Contained in a box with pictorial cover. Corners a little rubbed. A few marks to covers. Some foxing to contents. Illustration to verso of rear cover is partially coloured in. Jigsaws are all present. 1 small piece missing and 2 small pieces are broken. Numbers written on the verso of jigsaw pieces. A little foxing to jigsaw pieces. Rear joints of box are broken but box is still sturdy. Some grubby marks.
Green cloth with embossed decoration and blind titles to front cover. Spine has gilt titles with author/publisher name in black and embossed decoration. Colour frontis. 310 pages. Spine is bumped at top and bottom with very small splits. Corners bumped and worn. Rear cover is stained with a few small marks. Ink inscription and small bookseller's sticker to front endpaper. Small patch of damage to top 1cm of rear joint. Couple of hinges cracked. Browned to endpapers. Heavy foxing, mostly to page edges. Odd margin mark. Contained in a photcopy dustwrapper.
