Green cloth boards, gilt titles and borders. 36 b/w plates printed in colour by Leighton Brothers. xii and 330 pages including index plus 2 pages publisher adverts to rear. Third printing. Re-backed with original spine laid down. Front pastedown has a couple of small chips, endpapers have a few minor marks. A few margin marks and foxspots. All plates present, colours vivid and bright. One plate has a margin crease. A nice copy considering its age.

Good condition.
A round of tales for young and old. Purple cloth with gilt titles and decorative borders. 290 pages, all edges gilt. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Spine faded and rear cover just lightly spotted. Front joint is cracked and a couple of hinges also cracked. Light foxing throughout. A few marks to page margins but contents are generally clean.
