Short biographies of more than 50 of the artists whose talents helped to create the Golden Age. Large format, green boards, gilt title to spine. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations throughout. ISBN: 1854790412. Top edge of text block lightly browned with minor foxing. Else a nice, clean copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is also nice and clean.

Cream pictorial endpapers. 197 pages. 11.25 x 8.75". Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Darkening and marks to spine; some other dark marks to covers; scuffs to rear. Some writing in ink to front pastedown/endpaper. Foxing and some marks to outer page edges. Some margin marks. All plates present. Contents are generally very good.

Dasent's "Popular Tales from the Norse". Light bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Names in ink to prelim pages. Foxing throughout. All plates present. Wrapper is browned to spine with some scuffing; creasing; a few marks; light chips along a couple of edges.
Modern binding with 3/4 marbled and red leather spine and corners. B/w photographs. Text in Danish. Front panel of original wrapper, which is illustrations by Nielsen has been bound in as part of the prelims. Edges worn, with a little fading to leather. An unusual item!
