Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A fictional autobiography. Black cloth with gilt vignette and borders to front cover, title and vignette to spine. Pink and black illustrated endpapers. Introduction by J.B. Priestley. B/w illustrations. 557 pages. Gilt at top edge faded, gilt title to spine faded to blue. Corners lightly bumped and some light mottling. Text block browned. Foxing throughout. Black pictorial dustwrapper is worn and chipped to top of spine, rubbed at corners, lightly marked to rear panel.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
White/cream spine with gilt title. Pale green cloth with gilt titles. Limited edition to 850 copies, of which 800 copies were for sale. Spine is browned with some spotting. Foxing and browning, mostly to endpapers and outer page edges, but a few margin marks. This is Copy No. 213. Wrapper has large tear, which has been partially repaired to verso; foxed and very browned, especially to spine; some chips and nicks, but only minimal loss.

Larger format. Black cloth with gilt titles. Blue, black, gold and white illustrations throughout. Contains: Everyman; The Nativity and The Shepherds' Play. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to spine. Some scuffs to covers. Page edge browning, with some foxing. A few margin marks. Small inscription in ink to free front endpaper.
