Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Sammy is lonely in the Cornish fishing village where he lives with his aunt, uncle and cousin. This charming story (full of authentic detail) tells of his friendship with a young seal who adopts Sammy as a master. White cloth boards, blue title to spine. B/w line drawings. Remains of presentation plate to front pastedown with some surface paper damage where same has been removed. Pictorial dsuttwrapper is edge-worn and grubby to rear panel.

The 4th book about Professor Branestawm. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 130 pages. ISBN: 0370012429. Spine slightly bumped. Light brown spot to rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper (ink very slightly smudged). A few light foxspots to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears but only minimal loss and is grubby to rear panel.

A collection of stories about the days when the world was brand new, and the animals were still making up their minds just what they wanted to be. Blue mottled boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 72 pages. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Light page browning to half-title page else contents fine. Dustwrapper is just a little grubby on rear panel and slightly worn at top and tail of spine. A nice copy of the scarce first edition.

Light foxing to endpapers and contents (mainly to page edges). A couple of faint marks to prelims else covers and contents clean). Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby with foxing and large damp stain to top edge of rear panel. Minimal loss to top and tail of spine, some closed tears which have been repaired with magic tape on verso.
